Dr. Laurent Ganry is an Attending in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) with expertises in Head and Neck Surgery & Facial Aesthetic Surgery, working in the OMFS Department of the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, NY, USA. He is an Assistant Professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
He earned his Medical Degree in OMFS at La Sorbonne University — College of Medicine, one of the top medical universities in Paris, France.
He subsequently obtained Complementary Training in Facial Plastic Surgery & ENT / OMFS—Head and Neck Surgery, in France, Japan and the USA.
Dr. Ganry's pursuit of excellence led him to undertake Dual Fellowships Training in the USA, in Head & Neck OMFS & ENT Surgery (from UF Health in Florida, and from the Harvard Medical School in Massachusetts respectively), combined with a Plastic Surgery Fellowship in Tokyo, Japan, broadening his perspective and skills.
He won Multiple Awards in Surgical Innovations and International Reconstructive Microsurgery Competitions, developed a medical device (Patent in the USA), and published over 30 scientific articles and book chapters, including one article in The Lancet Journal (one of the most prestigious medical journals).
